The Ford Focus has proven over the past year to be one of several fuel efficient new cars which are consistently getting 35 miles per gallon highway. The SES package delivers options such as a power moon roof with shade, and eight speaker 190 watt stereo system with 8 inch subwoofer and MP3 capabilities. Also included are the metallic instrument panel, metallic console top plate, performance cluster, and Chrome exhaust tip.

Interior options include cloth or leather. The standard appointments consist of a choice between both medium stone color leather and black leather on the SEL. Leather is an option on the SES model otherwise cloth is standard in these colors as well. Additionally leather trimmed heated front seats are available.

Currently available exterior colors include Blue Flame Metallic, Sangria Red Metallic, Sterling Grey Metallic, Natural Neutral Metallic, Ingot Silver Metallic, Black, and White Suede.

Standard Personal Safety System for both driver and front passenger consists of dual stage front airbags, passenger sensing system, safety belt sensors, crash severity sensor, restraint control module, and safety belt energy management system. Safety features also include ABS, antiskid system, and traction control.
